How do I apply to Volunteer?

Email the volunteer coordinator at Chula Vista Animal Care Facility at: animalcare@chulavistaca.gov to let them know that your application is specifically for the California SPCA Offsite Micro Adoption Events.

Step 3
Follow the instructions provided by the volunteer coordinator, complete some paperwork, get a fast and free background check and fingerprinting done at QWIKPRINTS in Chula Vista, CA. (Mine took 10 minutes...)
Once the background check comes back, you'll have an animal handling class at the shelter. After that you'll help us get these fur-children in front of adopters on Saturday mornings by picking up a pup at the shelter, bringing it to the event, and then returning it to the shelter.
