Our Strategy
California Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals is determined to help all homeless community animals find loving homes. We will work with municipal, private, and non-profit shelters as well as rescue organizations throughout the state of California and beyond to ensure every animal that is not suffering irremediably gets out alive.

Adoption events. Everywhere. All the time. Shelters struggle to attract enough visitors to their facilities. They are also challenged with small budgets, skeleton crews for staff, and a shortage of volunteers. We aim to partner with these facilities, recruit animal-loving volunteers, and get these sweet fur babies the visibility they need to find homes.

If you are empathetic, hard-working, dependable, and will advocate for them in your network of friends, family, and social media, we would love for you to join our volunteer team. They need your love and attention, socialization, exercise, and to be visible outside of the facilities that house them. We will only succeed with your help.
